Actualización Monitoreo Éxodo Migrante: Huixtla (Chiapas) – Sayula (Veracruz) – 3 al 8 de febrero de 2019

Resumen:

  • Alrededor de 2,500 personas continúan el recorrido desde Huixtla, haciendo paradas en varias poblaciones.
  • Preocupa que es insuficiente la atención por parte de gobiernos locales para recibir y dar atención humanitaria.
  • En Arriaga, Tapanatepec, Zanatepec, Niltepec y Matías Romero las autoridades locales les dicen a las personas migrantes que van llegando que no se pueden quedar ahí, y que sigan adelante. Eso implica que no les dejan descansar de las largas caminatas.
  • Existe un clima de criminalización por parte de funcionarios públicos del Instituto Nacional de Migración, policía municipal y federal.
  • Se denuncia la desaparición forzada de una persona hondureña acompañante de la Caravana.
